Oh Most High Heavenly Father
Oh most high and heavenly Father,
giver of life and Father of mercies,
we give you thanks for all your gifts,
and in a special way for the gift of our vocation,
because by means of the words
and the example of our blessed Father Francis,
your Son became our Way.
You who by your mercy and grace
called us to follow in His footsteps,
make us, like Saint Francis, the friends and imitators of Christ,
so that we may render many times over
the gifts we have received, and become the mirror of Christ for all our brothers.
