Discover the Art of Christ-like Listening
Embracing the Lord's approach and mindset - Transforming conversations into sacred encounters.
PART 1: October 27 - 30, 2025
PART 2: Spring 2026
Why This Matters
The Church today is facing a listening crisis. Many faithful attend Mass, serve, and join small groups—yet deep down, countless hearts feel unseen, unheard, and unsupported.
Only 20% of Catholics feel fully known and supported in their parish community (Barna, 2022)
Christ-like Listening offers a way back.
It is not another technique—it is a way of being: rooted in God’s will, faithful to Christ, and open to the other. It creates sacred space where hearts encounter God, not just words.
This seminar invites you to renew how we listen, how we accompany, and how we walk together in faith.
Seminar Highlights
From common struggles in parishes… to Christ-like solutions
-
Surface Groups → Deeper Encounters
57% say small groups stay surface-level (Barna). Christ-like Listening opens hearts. -
Hidden Wounds → Safe Healing
56% keep faith private (Barna). We create safe, grace-filled spaces. -
Overloaded Priests → Shared Care
Only 8% feel close to their priest (Pew). Lay people share the mission. -
Disconnected Hearts → True Communion
8 in 10 feel unseen (Barna). Listening restores belonging. -
Lonely Journeys → Supportive Community
Unsupported members are twice as likely to drift (Church Answers). We walk together.
Why Christ-Like Listening Is Different
Unlike ordinary listening or coaching, Christ-like Listening is:
• Rooted in God’s will – not just feelings or goals.
• A bridge – opening space for God’s grace to work.
• An encounter – leading beyond problem-solving to meeting Christ Himself.
Who Should Attend?
Especially valuable for:
• Small group leaders and parish leaders
• Priests and religious
• Catechists and lay ministers
