Spiritual Exercises 2022

Throughout our community's history, it has always been a great joy to receive a retreat each summer alongside many of our broader community of friends and supporters. We wanted to offer for you to share in the Spiritual Exercises which we received last summer, July 2022, from Archbishop Terrance Prendergast. 

Below you will find the videos & resources from our 5-day retreat at Our Lady of Hope Retreat Center in PEI. There are a variety of ways that you can partake of this retreat now:

• If you have a week that you can dedicate to a retreat, you can take in the morning talks, afternoon talks and homilies respectively each day, enjoying times of silence and reflection on the material in the time in-between.

• ​You can watch the videos and do the reflections over a period of a few weeks, while you are continuing in your regular work or studies. You may want to absorb one talk/homily a day and take the time for reflection when you are able.

​

• This retreat could be enjoyed in solitude or you could gather a group that may want to journey together through the talks and homilies, entering into the retreat together and discussing the fruits of the reflections.

​

• Whichever way you choose, it is often a good practice when entering into a retreat, if possible, to leave space in your days for silence and prayer. It may also be a fitting time to meet with a spiritual director or find an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
